Dr. Markus Chwajol
Markus Chwajol is a neurosurgeon currently employed by the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He was born in the Czech Republic and moved to the U.S. late in 1990. After obtaining legal status, he joined the U.S. Army. He graduated Cum Laude from Columbia University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior in 1998, and earned his M.D. from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Montefiore Medical Center, the teaching hospital of Albert Einstein University in New York in 2009, followed by a Fellowship in cerebrovascular neurosurgery with the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, in 2010. After which, he served as neurosurgery attending at Saint Joseph Medical Center and later Mount Sinai hospital, a level one trauma center.
Dr. Markowitz holds a Ph.D. in nutritional sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. She’s a weight loss expert, wellness coach and cookbook author whose advice and recipes have been featured in various publications, including Women’s Health, Shape, and Raw Food magazines. Dr. Sanjay Sahgal
Dr. Sahgal is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also holds an additional board certification in forensic psychiatry. Dr. Sahgal served as a professor at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. For the past 20 years Dr. Sahgal has been engaged in teaching, mental health advocacy, and engaged in his private practice.
